On the ‘SCUM Manifesto’ - In 2005 I re-published and distributed a copy of Valarie Solanas’ controversial essay ‘The SCUM Manifesto’. This is the introduction I wrote to the edition, where I explain the context in which the work was written in an attempt to quell the hysteria and misunderstanding of the text.
RIP David Reimer - Short piece on a boy who was the victim of an eminent gender researcher’s ego and inability to see that his theory was wrong, even when the evidence was staring him in the face.
